Joe's Pancake House History
On September 16, 1976 Joseph Abi-Ad, a young chef from Lebanon, found himself in Tucson, Arizona working towards his dream of one day having a restaurant. In 1984, that dream came true. Joe's Pancake House opened its doors on June 14 at the quiet intersection of Golf links and Kolb.
Since then Joe has been dedicated to working hard to make sure patrons' eggs and pancakes are cooked to satisfaction. As the business grew, Joseph's family grew as well with the addition of his wife Jacqueline and their three children: Pierre, Mary and Fabienne. You can still catch Jackie and the kids spending time with their extended family at Joe's.
Today, Joe's Pancake House has evolved into a Tucson family favorite among locals and visitors. For the last 27 years, Joe's dedicated and friendly staff have made sure you had a place to come for breakfast everyday, including holidays. Mary Abi-Ad, following in her father's foot steps, looks to take Joe's Pancake House into the next generation. Thank you for all the support for the past 30 years and we hope that your family will continue to grow with ours.
